Relearning Making Money Online

Money Blog Online has been helping people make extra money online with PTC, PTR, and other get paid to programs for over 5 years, but this blog itself is only about two years old.

In that time, the Internet has changed considerably. The ways of making money with affiliate programs has been tweaked and re-done, making money with video sites has been re-evaluated with the event of terms and conditions changing. People have seemed to turn back to banking finance models since they haven’t been able to quite follow these changes. Does that mean that making money online is dead or on it’s way out? Definitely not. What it does mean is a re-learning how to make money online and finding new niche markets that can help you create income without breaking the bank or reaching deep into your pockets.

As announced prior, Money Blog Online will be changing it’s focus to broaden the online income options that are seem on many sites. MBO has been the leader in this since the blog appeared: offline marketing strategies to create online income were freely given to MBO referrals, a free training system for IFWs was presented, and now we have added to that to allow for independent business income opportunities and other programs.

Stay tuned with Money Blog Online. MBO will be re-introducing the mailing list and also offering opportunities and outlets for great promotion, as well as tips and ideas on how to find and start your own online business and get into a market that you feel comfortable in.

Social Networking That Pays You!

Chances are you are a part of some type of social networking website: MySpace, LinkedIn, Facebook … there is no escaping social networking. What if you could get paid for what you do on a social networking site? What if, for every person who joins because you’ve joined, you get paid? Well, now you can with Yuwie; a social networking website that pays you for, well, social networking.

Yuwie is not a new start-up, they’ve been around for a while. If you Google them, yes, you will find complaints; however, that is to be expected with any social network (Facebook *ehem*). These complaints don’t necessarily reflect on the social network(s), but they do give insight into their popularity. What you should watch for is how a social network responds to user feedback. Yuwie has responded with paying their users.

AgLoCo No More

Some of you may be familiar with AgLoCo, the for company that was preparing to launch. The idea was that it would pay people to allow a banner to be on their screen as they surf the web. The banner would show advertisements, much like a stock ticker, and users could click on the ads that interested them. Sounds pretty promising, right? So what happened? Well, here’s the story…

AgLoCo was started by the folks who were the masterminds of the highly successful mid-90′s startup, AllAdvantage. AllAdvantage followed the same format, and offered many a nice check each month for letting the banner run and referring friends. It paid, get this: 1 cent for each hour you were on. No big deal, but with 10 referrals, I was getting a check for 50 per month with only half of them meeting the max on the hours allotted per month. Some of my friends who had started early and built their referrals where getting between $200 and $1,000 at the end of the month. So, you can understand why I was looking forward to a possible repeat.When it didn’t happen, needless to say, it was a disappointment. Thankfully, AgLoCo wasn’t the only thing I was working on.

So what’s the point? Be sure to leave your options open when it comes to earning extra income online. If you are with one PTR, PTC, or banner company, try a business opportunity to compliment it. There is always the chance that a startup could succeed or fail, so be sure to get prepared for both when you’re looking at the options in front of you.
